Bug was a cultivation of different fish template that we used over the course of 5 years of trying to create a fish that fit in all conditions, but we found it lacked in both. whether the board was too narrow or the rocker was too intense for your smaller waves, or it was too flat for the steeper sections. We wanted our twin fin lovers to have the perfect board for select conditions. In the end we split the design in two, The Bug and The Bone Fish.
The Bug was created for making the most out of gutless surf. With it's super wide outline, shallow single concave and much flatter rocker allowing it to carry as much speed as possible through those fatter sections. In addition, having a hip extended outward from the back of the fins giving this board much more maneuverability than that of a traditional fish. In short the perfect summer fish.
