The Serpents design was created back in 2023 when the team riders were after a daily driver, a short board thruster made for your everyday beach break. We went through many different thruster style outlines, concaves and rockers to find the sweet spot of “fun-formance”. Working every detail with Jamie Mccrindle we found that this was the best combination. The tail half of the board having slight hip into a standard squash tail with a flick in the rocker not only making it easy to turn while holding a nice amount of drive, it also fits extremely well in the pocket of the wave. The rounded nose allows the surfer to have their serpent and inch or two under their normal shortboard length while keeping all the paddle power and volume. Overall a great allrounder for the everyday surfer.
